4. Prep for Franklyn G. Verley's funeral Celebration. Walked to Carey for bus. Miracle as the bus delayed and Sister Afia was not @ the Arts Center yet at 10:15am. Got the bus and walked safely to the Center. Met Afia and Hasani. Spoke to Promise as she had a meeting. Special Latina event at the center. Met Mr. Reuben, Indian looking Latina Social Studies teacher.
5. Took the drums and a djembey into Ms China's car. Mentioned about plans for Elderly Council to her.
6. Joined by Sam and Brown plus other Olabisi members to drum in Franklyn's into the church. Nice church and beautiful farewell service. Franklyn laughing as he lay in state.
7. Big name community leaders speaking at the celebration. Line up of Senior Pastors at the event.
8. Played with Sam to usher out the casket. The Serenity people ask about a card. Try to go and see them about possible contact. Took their card
9. Repast at Nevada Partners. Performance Intro to usher in elders, family and sympathisers.
10. Nice event and food. Took some photos.
11. Walked to the bus stop after the event to get 214
12. Salt cleansing done and rest for a while.
